Skales v6.1 introduces a brand new mascot skin: Bubbles 💧.
Bubbles is a playful blue liquid blob that morphs into different shapes. Think of a friendly water droplet with big eyes and tiny arms - unpredictable, expressive, and always ready to help.
You can select Bubbles as your Desktop Buddy skin in Settings. The original Skales gecko is still there - now you have a choice.
How to Switch
Open Skales, go to Settings, scroll to Desktop Buddy, and pick your skin. Both Skales and Bubbles have full animation sets for idle, action, and intro states.
Build Your Own Skin
Want to create your own skin? Drop a folder with .webm video files into the mascot directory following the same structure (idle/, action/, intro/, icon.png) and Skales picks it up automatically. No coding required.
