Most AI automation tools require you to be at your computer. Skales' Telegram integration breaks this assumption. Once set up, you can send a message to your Skales bot from any device with Telegram โ your phone, a borrowed computer, a tablet โ and your computer at home will execute the task.
Setting Up the Integration
In Skales, go to Settings โ Integrations โ Telegram. Click "Create Bot" and follow the prompts โ this creates a private Telegram bot linked to your Skales instance. Scan the QR code with your phone's Telegram app to connect. Once connected, any message you send to your Skales Telegram bot is received by Skales on your computer and processed as a task. You get a reply when it's done.
What You Can Do Remotely
The use cases that matter most in practice: "Download the presentation that just landed in my email to my desktop" โ Skales fetches it and confirms. "What meetings do I have tomorrow?" โ Skales reads your calendar and replies with the summary. "Add Buy milk to my task list" โ Skales adds it and confirms. "Is my computer still running that long Python script I left running?" โ Skales checks system processes and tells you. The interaction is conversational, the latency is typically under 10 seconds, and it works from anywhere with phone signal.
WhatsApp integration works the same way for users who prefer it. Both are available in Skales Settings โ Integrations. Your Skales computer needs to be on and running for remote commands to execute โ it is not a cloud service, it is your actual machine receiving instructions. See all integrations.
