Skales started as a simple idea — an AI buddy that lives on your desktop. Not another SaaS. Not another subscription. Just download, install, done. Today, that idea got a massive upgrade.
Built-in Browser (Beta)
Skales can now browse the web for you. Navigate to sites, scroll through pages, click links, extract content — all while you watch. It's not perfect yet (hence Beta), but it's the foundation for something bigger. DOM-to-Markdown extraction, cookie banner auto-accept, session history, export as Markdown.
4 Themes
Because one look doesn't fit everyone. Skales (classic), Obsidian (dark minimal), Snowfield (light clean), Neon (dark vibrant). Each with its own navigation style — sidebar, top bar, icon rail.
Dashboard Builder
Your dashboard, your way. Status cards, word cloud of what Skales is thinking about, recent sessions, and optional widgets you can toggle on and off.
Always-On Agent (Beta)
Schedule tasks. “Check my emails every morning at 8.” Skales runs them in the background. Cron syntax for power users, natural language for everyone else. Identity Maintenance keeps your context fresh between scheduled runs.
Live Voice (Beta)
Talk to Skales. Actually talk. Duplex voice with speech recognition (Groq, OpenAI, Azure) and text-to-speech (ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Azure). Still early, but it works.
Mobile Access (Beta)
Access Skales from your phone via Tailscale. Same interface, same AI, just on a smaller screen. QR code setup — scan and you're connected.
Agent Swarm (Alpha)
Multiple Skales instances discovering each other on your network via mDNS. The beginning of multi-agent collaboration — delegate tasks between instances.
Apple Code Signing
macOS users no longer need the right-click workaround. Skales is now signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate. Just download and run.
9 Languages
English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese. The interface speaks your language.

What's Next
This is the biggest update since Skales went public. And it's just the beginning. Download it, try it, break it, tell me what sucks. That's how we make it better.
